Briefings

At Big Picture, we regularly talk to companies working at the juncture between media, communications and technology markets. We’re happy to discuss our research and the underlying methodologies, including our reports published at GigaOM Pro. And no, you don’t need to be a client in order to schedule a 30 minute telephone briefing.

Based upon our experience with briefings, we suggest the following guidelines to expedite the process:

  1. Scheduling: We schedule briefings on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10AM and 2PM U.S. Eastern Time.
  2. Propose a time: Please propose times in our briefing window.
  3. Calendar invites welcome: Even easier, send a calendar invite, and we’ll get back to you
  4. Time Zones: A reminder, we’re on the East Coast, so that’s U.S. Eastern time.
  5. Materials: Please send briefing materials 24 hours in advance so that we have time to prepare.
  6. 30 Minutes: We schedule a half hour. If we go over, we can always schedule a follow-up conversation.

We also attend industry conferences and arrange in-person briefings there. Contact us about scheduling.
